"The Great Lake Walk and Ultramarathon is a 56 km walk or run around beautiful Cowichan Lake on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are very excited about our 10th Anniversary Walk this year. There will be lots of prizes and some new Sponsors as well.
Walk or run from the community of Youbou on the north shore to Caycuse, Honeymoon Bay, Mesachie Lake on the south shore, finishing in the Town of Lake Cowichan. You will be greeted with warm welcomes along the way from the volunteers at the twelve rest stops. They supply food, drinks, porta-potties and more."

Transportation Details
Free shuttle buses will be available from the finish line back to the Youbou Community Hall throughout the day of the Walk. Buses will be available in the morning from Lake Cowichan to Youbou. Tickets are required and can be obtained by pre-registering on your entry form. Other options are also available through the event website.
